Donghua University invented multiple sets of core-spun yarns
Donghua University recently successfully designed and invented a new composite fiber material - multi-component core-spun yarn. This multi-component core-spun yarn includes PA/PVC/PET three-component covered yarn and belongs to the field of special textiles.
Wang Yimin, the main inventor of the yarn, said that this multi-component core-spun yarn is divided into a three-layer coating structure, namely a PET core layer, a PVC middle layer and a PA outer layer. Among them, the PVC middle layer is wrapped on the PET core layer, and the PA outer layer is wrapped on the PVC middle layer.
This new type of multi-component core-spun yarn can be used as the warp and weft yarns of woven fabrics. While ensuring flame retardancy, it also improves wear resistance, is tough and durable, and has excellent flame retardant effects. Its products have the characteristics of good stability, high strength, and good wear resistance, and can be widely used in hotel placemats, table flags, beach chairs, interior decoration, curtains, and tarpaulins.
